DATO’ DR MOHAMAD HASHIM BIN AHMAD TAJUDIN

Dato' Dr Mohd Hashim Ahmad Tajudin holds a PHD in Soil Fertility and Management from Universiti Putra Malaysia and has also attended Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD, France and the Harvard Premier Business Management Programme. Dato' Dr Mohd Hashim is currently the Group Managing Director of Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad.

Dato' Dr Mohd Hashim is a member of several professional bodies and societies and is also involved in the Professional and Technical bodies of several Malaysian organisations such as Adjunct Professor of the Agricultural Faculty, University Putra Malaysia, Committee Member, Cluster Working Group, Biotechnology & Bioindustry; Chairman, Sub-Cluster Working Group Industrial Biotechnology; Vice Chairman, Sub-Cluster Working Group Healthcare Biotechnology; Member, Cluster Working Group Agribusiness; Board of Director, MARDI; Chairman, Planters Editorial Committee for the Incorporated Society of Planters; Council Member, Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers; Chairman, Branding and Intellectual Property Committee, Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers; Board Member, Universiti Putra Malaysia; Council Member, Outward Bound School Trust and Member, University Industry Advisory Panel, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. Apart from that, as a scientist, he has published more than 60 technical papers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

PROF DR. SALMAH YUSOF

She is a senior lecturer currently attached to the Faculty of Science and Technology, University Science Islam Malaysia in the Food Biotechnology program. Her educational background was a diploma in agriculture, followed by Bachelor Degree in Food Science, a Master degree in Food Processing Technology and Ph. D. in Food Processing and Preservation. Previously working with guava, sugar cane juice and roselle, she is now involved with Halal Food research. Food ingredients and additives is an important area to be addressed. The wide variety of food offered in the market often confuse the consumers and most of them are unaware of what they have consumed. Hence, it is important to facilitate consumers to guide them in purchasing the right food. As a senior lecturer, Prof Salmah provides the synergy for young researchers of the Halal Food research team. The team’s goal is one i.e. to provide guidance for the ummah as to fulfill the fardhu kifayah.

DATUK DR. JOHNSON TEE

Datuk Dr. Johnson Tee holds a PhD from St George’s University, UK branch Campus and a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Wales, Cardiff, UK. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). London, United Kingdom and has worked as a ship chartering manager for Yayasan Sabah Shipping for 23 years.

He is a part-time lecturer in logistics for Kota Kinabalu Open University Malaysia and is a practising logistician/ Maritime consultant in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and Manila, the Philippines. He has undertaken several shipping/logistics feasibility studies and is a freelance maritime consultant providing consultancy input for transport logistics and planning initiatives, with an overall experience of 26 years.


DATO’ DR MA’AMOR BIN OSMAN

Dato' Dr. Ma'amor Bin Osman is a Secretary General Muslim Consumers Association Malaysia (PPIM). Became Secretary-General (SUA) PPIM since established in 1996. Directly involved to develop the idea of consumerism from the perspective of Islam. Consumer movement that emphasizes a more conventional manual as to defend the rights guaranteed by the United Nations (UN). In Islam the responsibility of the user is an important aspect to be implemented. Islamic policy of consumerism has been successfully promoted through forums in and outside the country.
